Atria AI is a UK-based legal technology startup building AI-powered tools to help lawyers work more efficiently. Their platform uses artificial intelligence to support legal research and document analysis, enabling law firms to handle complex cases faster and with greater accuracy. As an early-stage company preparing to launch their minimum viable product, Atria AI needed reliable, scalable cloud infrastructure that could grow with the business. The Challenge
Atria AI is a UK-based legal technology startup building AI-powered tools to support lawyers with research and document analysis. As they prepared to launch their minimum viable product (MVP), they needed a cloud environment that could support rapid product development while adhering to cloud best practices.
Specifically, they required a structured, multi-environment setup for development, staging, and production; secure and isolated networking across services; IAM policies based on least-privilege; Infrastructure as Code for repeatability and scalability; and a clear pathway for future scaling and cost control.
With a small engineering team focused on product development, Atria AI wanted a partner who could deliver hands-on cloud support tailored to the needs of early-stage startups.
The Solution
MakeCloud partnered with Atria AI to design and implement their initial cloud environment, providing startup-friendly architecture and hands-on engineering support tailored to their needs.
We deployed separate cloud environments for development, staging, and production to mitigate risks and reduce downtime. Centralised logging and monitoring was implemented using native cloud tooling for full visibility across all environments.
All infrastructure was defined using Terraform-based Infrastructure as Code, enabling repeatable deployments and providing a cost-efficient, scalable foundation optimised for startup agility.
